Pengfei Xuan, PhD

Pengfei focuses on designing and building big data analytics and high-performance computing infrastructure for Agerpoint's production data pipelines. His work helps to harden and scale the code developed by domain experts like agronomists, geospatial data scientists, and machine learning engineers.

His expertise covers the design, setup, and operation of cloud environments, the integration of data and compute systems, the automation of data and compute pipeline, and the management of software and data lifecycle in production (DevOps, DataOps).

Pengfei joined Agerpoint in 2016 after graduating from Clemson University, where he earned his Master and PhD degrees in Computer Science.

He has over ten years of experience researching, architecting, and operating on-premises and cloud distributed computing systems.
