Agerpoint selected as a Winner of the World Economic Forum’s Carbon Market Challenge

Agerpoint is poised to be a leader to provide credibility and transparency in the growing Carbon Market through innovative plant measurement techniques.

Agerpoint was announced as a winner of the Carbon Market Challenge and selected as one of the 12 Top UpLink Innovators by the World Economic Forum at the United Nations Climate Change Conference, COP26, in Glasgow. The challenge called for innovative solutions to harness the potential of the carbon market with technologies supporting conservation, restorations, and land management for people, climate, and nature.

Selected from a field of 120 submissions from 41 countries and reviewed by experts from companies, governments, civil society, standard-setters and fellow ecopreneurs worldwide, Agerpoint is poised to be a leader to provide credibility and transparency in the growing Carbon Market.

Leveraging years of experience and patented technology, Agerpoint generates accurate 3D digital plant models, then applies artificial intelligence to create highly accurate 3D plant models and efficiently extract physical measurements and health information using automation and AI which correlate with carbon captured in the soil.

“We are beyond thrilled and humbled to be selected as one of the innovators for the World Economic Forum’s Carbon Market Challenge for our Know Your Carbon ™ solution,” said Kevin Lang, CEO of Agerpoint. “This recognition is further evidence there is strong demand for science-based approaches such as Know Your Carbon™ to address the critical gap of enabling real and verified carbon credits through better tech-enabled measurement and monitoring techniques and we look forward to working closely with the cohort of winners to scale our technology.”
